Reading/L.A.Literacy instruction integrates the 4 language processes of speaking, writing, listening and reading. Literacy standards and benchmarks will be taught using different experiences. These may include:
*Whole and small group instruction using leveled literature *Daily read-aloud time *Sustained Silent Reading *Cross-curricular writing activities Additionally, fourth graders are expected 20 minutes at each night to further strengthen their reading skills. |
MathenVisionMATH is a core mathematics curriculum for students in grades k-6. The curriculum aims to help students develop an understanding of mathematics concepts through problem-based instruction, small group instruction, and visual learning, with a focus on reasoning and modeling. Additionally, it offers an online student component to support learning.
